Youth Camp
From Quito, Ecuador, we extend a call-out to all youth from the American continent be a part of the Youth Camp of the
Americas Social Forum. The camp is being organized with the goal of creating a space of action and for sharing
knowledge and experience between youth, organizations, and social movements, which we propose for the construction of
a new world in which we can all take part.
The events of the camp will take place from the 22nd to the 24th of July. We invite everyone to register
self-organized events: conferences, debates, workshops, cultural or artistic performances or any other kind of
activity that contribute in the building of a new world.

The camping facilities will be available from the 22nd to the 30th of July, in the Metropolitano Park, to make
it
possible for all to participate in the Forum. By registering to the camp you will have access to the forum's
activities and we will provide transport facilities to the forum.
We are urgently seeking for people to do voluntary work in:
* Translation
* Writing
* Reception and orientation
* Security
* Logistics

Participants should bring their own tent, sleeping bag (or blankets), food and a plate cup and spoon, as well as a
voluntary contribution that may be either a money or material donation (food, blankets, extra tents, etc.). We will
provide food to those who don.t have enough resources.
Note: the temperature in Quito during July is from 7°c (during the night) to 25°c (during the day)
